Stimuli is an online lifestyle magazine and newsletter that Maryanne Lechleiter founded after identifying a gap in the marketplace for timely information on fashion, home decor, food, health and children in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia.
These ‘suburban’ communities have so much to offer in the way of chic, trendy boutiques. All the higher-end products and services that are traditionally associated with a “downtown core” are available in these communities as well. Most of the media out there is focused on the major city centres and it was hard to find information on the products and services that were available on ‘this side of the Fraser’. Every day I would meet with business owners that had great ideas and great products and they wanted to get the word out there.”
